Stilla
Privacy Policy
Effective July 2026
Stilla is built so that your data never needs to leave your device — and it doesn't.
What Stilla stores
- Breathing sessions — date, duration, breathing pattern and rate, your optional calmness rating, and heart-derived metrics (heart rate, heartbeat intervals, HRV, heart–breath sync) when a sensor was connected. Stored in the app's private database on your device.
- Settings — your preferences (sound, haptics, appearance, reminder time), stored on your device.
Apple Health
With your permission, Stilla:
- writes Mindful Minutes and session HRV to Apple Health, and
- reads heart rate, heartbeat series, and HRV to compute session insights and your resting-HRV trend.
Health data is processed entirely on your device. You can review or revoke this access at any time in the Health app, and delete anything Stilla has written there.
Heart-rate sensors
If you connect a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor or use Apple Watch during a session, heartbeat data flows directly from the sensor to your device and is used only to compute the session metrics above.
What Stilla does not do
- No accounts, no sign-in.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting.
- No advertising, no tracking.
- No network access — the app makes no internet connections at all.
- No data is sold, shared, or transmitted to anyone, including us.
Deleting your data
Swipe to delete any session in History, or delete the app to remove everything it stored. Data written to Apple Health is managed in the Health app.
Notifications
If you enable a daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device.
Children
Stilla is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If a future version of Stilla ever changes any of the above — in particular, if any data were ever to leave your device — this policy will be updated first and the change called out in the App Store release notes.
